A Continued Promise for EZLynx Innovation

We look forward to 2023, which brings renewed investment and innovation in areas directly impacting our partner agencies. On the main stage at Applied Net 2022, our CEO Taylor Rhodes made it clear that Applied’s investment and focus on the EZLynx Platform is here to stay. Our transition into the Applied family brings many exciting opportunities to continue innovating to deliver more productivity, intelligence, simplicity, and value to you.

 

Highlights from 2022

We focused our 2022 product investment on ensuring the stability and foundation of the platform for many years to come.

 

Applied Net

Seeing so many of our agency partners in Nashville at our first Applied Net user conference was wonderful. Thank you to everyone who attended the EZLynx sessions! Our team spent months preparing changes to the product and detailed sessions to make the event valuable for everyone. Our favorite part was spending time face-to-face with our customers to understand your agency’s challenges. This feedback features heavily in our roadmap for the upcoming year. 

I hope to see more of you in person for Applied Net 2023. We have top-secret surprises planned, as well as engaging sessions and the opportunity to learn from you.

 

Achievements

We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of this year’s Most Innovative Product of the Year by Best in Biz’s independent panel. EZLynx was built on the belief that technology can solve the challenges faced in the insurance industry. Throughout the years, we’ve prided ourselves on applying technology to the problems of independent insurance agencies in new ways to help our agency partners become more effective and profitable.  

 

Product Enhancements

Two focus areas this year were agency automation and growth. Automating repetitive activities and customer touch points helps an agency grow and scale while limiting the cost of adding additional employees.

This year alone, Automation Center saved agencies an average of 527 hours of manual work per month. That is the equivalent of adding four additional full-time employees working 130 hours per month, based on IRS guidelines of full-time employees, without hiring additional resources!

Another exciting addition to our platform was the new Performance Goals module for the EZLynx Management System. This solution helps agencies manage and grow their businesses by automatically keeping track of progress toward completion.

Personalized Consumer Experience

Today’s consumers expect individualized experiences, a standard set by big tech. They judge a company’s quality by the ease in which they can interact and do business online. Our goal is to help agencies provide personalized communication and digital experiences at the right time for the right consumer – across all life cycle stages. We are committed to enriching tools that help agencies automate and support personalized communication across sales, real-time rating, self-service, and renewal in the consumer's preferred method.

 

Business Intelligence

2023 brings increased investment in modern technology to address usability and demonstrate our commitment to providing a reporting product that exceeds expectations. This investment improves our ability to continue innovating in areas to help you run your business with the intelligence that comes from having data on a single platform.

 

Integrated Payments

Since the official launch of Applied Pay™ in October, EZLynx agencies have seen significant efficiency improvements in collecting agency bill invoices. We will continue to focus on reducing manual workflows through tighter integration between Applied Pay and our accounting product. Today, agencies are spending 4.2 hours per 100 agency bill receipts, and we believe we can significantly reduce that manual workload in the coming year.

 

Commercial Lines

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming integration of Tarmika for commercial rating in early 2023. This long-awaited addition to EZLynx will deliver a market-leading, integrated, complete round-trip commercial lines experience. Without a connected experience, agencies rely on manual workarounds and keying data into multiple systems, leaving our customers frustrated and searching for better solutions. Our goal is to continue to simplify complex commercial workflows, helping agencies grow their commercial book of business.
